At Custom Lithium, we stand behind the quality, craftsmanship and installation of our products. We believe that our customers should feel confident in their purchase which is why in the unlikely event that a technical issue arises that we offer favourable warranty terms on all our products.
We warrant that our products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use & service for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase on batteries and 3 years on portable. If a technical issue arises with one of our products, customers are encouraged to contact our support team immediately for expertise product support and guidance.
If you have purchased a product from us, you should be aware that our warranty is provided in addition to other consumer rights held by Australian consumer law. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

As part of our warranty process, you will need to speak with a member our our support team who will assist you with all technical inquiries and safety especially when handling batteries.
Please note that it is the customers responsibility to arrange return of the items for an alleged fault or warranty claim unless where the item has been damaged in transit / delivery to the customer. If the product is found to fall under the terms of our warranty, Custom Lithium will repair or replace the unit, and also refund the cost of the freight.
Please retain your receipt when booking the warranty return so that Custom Lithium can process your refund and return the battery to your nominated shipping address.

The warranty period varies depending on the product and is set out in the “Table of Products and Warranty Periods” at the bottom of the page. The warranty period begins at the time that the first owner (other than a commercial reseller) purchases the product. If a previous owner of the product (other than a commercial reseller, i.e. 2nd hand) has owned it for a period of time before selling it to you, then it is likely that they will have used up part of the warranty period offered by Custom Lithium.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by accidental, misuse, abuse, neglect, unauthorised modification, unauthorised repair, or natural wear and tear of the product. The warranty also does not cover any damage caused by the use of non-branded Custom Lithium products or any other products not manufactred or supplied by Custom Lithium.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by a short circuit across the terminals which is evident on the BMS MOSFET components. Replacement of the BMS device will be at the discretion of Custom Lithium and you may be required to cover the cover of replacement component(s).
If the product of a warranty claim is found to be in good working order and without fault (for example it is found to be simply flat and not charged), the customer is to cover the return freight to their nominated shipping address.
