Why batteries run flat
Most AGMs give you half
An AGM battery should only be drained to about half its rated size. A 100Ah AGM gives you around 50Ah you can actually use.
Lithium gives you the lot
Our lithium batteries are usable to their full rated capacity and weigh less, so the same space holds far more usable power.
Charging matters too
Lithium needs a charger with a lithium setting. We’ll flag what to check in your results.
Same size. Twice the use.
A 100Ah AGM should only be run to about half its charge. A 100Ah lithium battery gives you all 100Ah.

Upgrade questions
Can I swap my AGM straight for lithium?
Usually, yes, as long as your chargers support lithium. Check your DC-DC charger, solar controller and 240V charger for a lithium setting. If they don’t have one, we can bundle a compatible charger.
Is lithium safe?
Our batteries use lithium iron phosphate cells, the safest type of lithium battery, with built-in protection against overheating, over-discharge and short circuits.
How long will it last?
Every Custom Lithium battery is backed by a 7-year warranty and lifetime customer support from our Brisbane and Perth teams.

Installation. Adding a dual battery or auxiliary power system is a modification to your vehicle, and most installs involve some changes to wiring, trim or mounting. We recommend having a qualified auto electrician install your system.
