Battery Technician / Assembler
Custom Lithium are looking for applicants demonstrating a keen passion for Four Wheel Driving, Camping and Adventure who is interested in joining our growing team.
As all of our batteries are hand assembled, and tested – we are looking to grow our team of assemblers for more hands on deck!
The job is based out of our Brendale warehouse in North Brisbane, and includes full training on the job. Most of the assembly areas of the warehouse are in air conditioning.
Work ranges from general warehouse duties as well as building wiring harnesses, bus bars and other internal components required to assemble a battery.
This leads into assembling batteries in their entirety, which requires extra careful attention to detail and fine motor skills.
While experience is not necessary, the right applicant would demonstrate the following skills:
- Friendly, passionate and reliable person
- Keen to learn and contribute to a growing team environment
- Strong Attention to detail
- Use of general workshop tools
Knowledge of dual battery systems would be seen as a benefit but not required.
The position initially to be Casual however has the potential to grow into a part-time or full time permanent position for the right applicant.
Custom Lithium are looking for applicants demonstrating a high level of knowledge with DC Power systems to assist in our growing Sales & Warranty department.
Knowledge & Skills that would assist in the role includes:
- Exceptional Customer Service & Professional Phone Etiquette
- Dual Battery Systems, uses and applications such as Four Wheel Drives, Caravans, Motor Homes including calculating customer power requirements
- Battery internals, components and logic
- Calculating customer requirements for Charge & Discharge rates for tailor made solutions
- Handling product Courier & Freight
- Assisting customers with exceptional warranty service
Knowledge of off grid systems would be seen as a benefit but not required
